Crystal Run Village Inc will be conducting job interviews at the library for local positions with their company

Crystal Run Village Inc,  an independent, non-profit provider of services to over 500 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is looking for new employees in our area. Stop by the library and meet with them at an open job fair.

When: Thursday, December 7th, 2017

Time: 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.


  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver License Required

 The Sunshine Hall Library in Eldred is pleased to announce a series of free creative writing workshops. The workshops will be conducted by Helena Clare Pittman, an acclaimed author, art educator and illustrator, who has taught both children and adults. Ms. Pittman has successfully published 17 books, including “A Grain of Rice” which was named a New York Times Years Best Paperback Book.

 The workshops will be held January 12th, January 26th, and February 9th, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Due to space limitations, it is important that you reserve a seat.

Learn how to avoid internet scams and protect your personal records on-line. Presented by Leanne Stuhlmiller, BSA Officer/Information Security Officer from the First National Bank of Jeffersonville.

DELICIOUS! Friends of Sunshine Hall Free Library proudly present the final speaker in the Fall Speaker Series 2017.  Karol Sundholm discusses whole food, plant based cooking.

Can plant based eating really provide enough protein? Can I get healthy by avoiding processed foods? Will it help me lose weight? Will it fit my life style? Come, find out!!

Karol has been on the journey toward Whole food, plant based cooking for over 7 years.  She has honed some delicious recipes, methods, and tips, as well as cultivated a list of go-to reference books  for anyone who wishes to explore this healthy food style on their own.
