Get a library card

To apply for a library card, click here.

We will notify you by email when the card is ready to be picked up. Identification will be necessary.

Library cards are free to residents of the Towns of Lumberland and Highland only.

If you have a library card for a library in the Ramapo Catskill Library System, you may use it at our library.

If you are not a resident of the Town of Lumberland or Highland, and you do NOT live in the Ramapo Catskill Library System, you may apply for a pay card for $20 per year.

If you are a resident in the Ramapo Catskill Library System, you may apply for a free card at your local library: RCLS list of member libraries.

    Have a hold that needs to be picked up by 12.11.19 with my schedule and the libraries I can only get there that afternoon, 12.11.19 will it be held until end of that day?

    Yes, the book would be sent back on 12/12/19. But, if no one else is waiting for the book we can extend the hold until 12/19.
