Curbside service is available. Call the library at 557-6258 and we’ll check out your requested items and place them on a cart on the front porch. Just grab and go!

We are a member of the Ramapo Catskill Library System. An active RCLS library card is necessary to borrow items from the library.
If you live in the Town of Highland or the Town of Lumberland, you may apply for a free library card at our library with I.D. and proof of residency (if your I.D. is proof of residency, it’s all you need). Non residents may apply for a library card for an annual fee of $20.00. I.D. is required. The annual fee will be waived for anyone who donates $100 or more to the library. Our library card is accepted at all 47 libraries in RCLS.
Loan Periods and Fine Rates
Books — 14 day loan — $.10 per day
Videos/DVDs — 7 day loan — $1.00 per day
Audio Books — 14 day loan — $.10 per day
Magazines — 14 day loan — $.10 per day
Childrens books — 14 day loan $.05 per day
Fines are accrued ONLY on days the library is open.
To avoid fines, return or renew items by the due date.
To renew books, login to your account on-line OR call or visit the library.
Videos/DVDs cannot be renewed.

$.50 per page (color)
$.75 per page local
$1.50 per page long distance
We have 3 computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access available for public use.
Use of the computers is free to anyone with an RCLS library card.
There is a $1.00 per day charge for use of computer without a library card.
Our Wi-Fi and Internet Access has recently been upgraded to better serve our patrons needs. On your device search for available networks and select Sunshine Hall Library Public Wireless. No password is necessary.
